Blooms starting to show on the pear tree. If we don't get a hard
freeze, it looks like there will be lots of pears.
I am sorry about the poor quality of this shot. I couldn't get it to focus.
The first bloom has appeared on my brand new peach tree.
This is my seed-starting garden in its current state. Everything still seems to be looking good.
I have transplanted several of the eggplants to larger containers.
I have a question about the peach bloom. I just planted this little tree right before Christmas. Am I supposed to remove the blooms, so it can work on root production? This is the first evidence that this little stick is even alive, so I am happy to see it, though it is really early in the year for my trees to be blooming.
The eggplants that have gotten big enough to get bigger pots are the Aswad Eggplants and the Black Stem Eggplants. Both are from Baker Creek Seeds. I have several white eggplants, and one Rosa Bianca eggplant, but they aren't large enough to transplant yet.
